THE GRACE & GRITS GIRLS
Grace & Grits, located in the heart of historic downtown Perry, Georgia; began as a dream over 10 years ago when owner, Abbey Green Lewis, was in middle school. For years, she and her mom, Leigh Ann, talked about the idea, and Abbey finally made the dream a reality in 2018, first opening Grace & Grits in her hometown of Unadilla. After 8 months in Unadilla, Grace & Grits moved to its current home in downtown Perry and introduced ladies' and men's clothing to compliment the gift selection that made so many people adore the shop already. No matter what you're looking for, the Grace & Grits girls can help you find the perfect gift, outfit, home decor, and so much more!
When they are not busy at Grace & Grits, Abbey & Leigh Ann enjoy spending time on the family farm they have called the farm home since Leigh Ann's great grandparents first moved to Dooly County in the mid-1890's. (see our handmade cotton boll wreaths created from cotton grown on our farm!) The two help their husbands manage the operation, whether they are handling bookkeeping or driving tractors. In addition, Abbey is a mama to a baby boy and a herd of dogs, a volunteer firefighter, and hobbyist photographer, while Leigh Ann is a mother, and grandmother, avid gardener, and gym enthusiast.
